Hasan Kaçan (born December 10, 1957, Kayseri) is a Turkish cartoonist, screenwriter, actor, director, and television presenter. Born in the İncesu district of Kayseri, he moved with his family to Istanbul at a young age. After meeting cartoonist Oğuz Aral in middle school, he turned to cartooning and drew for roughly fifteen years at the humor magazine Gırgır, later contributing to Hıbır and Keskin Ustura. His comic strips Eşşek Herif and Cork won him a wide readership, and he also worked as a newspaper columnist in the 1990s.
On television he hosted his own talk show on Kanal 7 beginning in 1995. He wrote for the series Ekmek Teknesi and became widely famous playing the character Heredot Cevdet in it. He appeared in series such as Eşref Saati, Halil İbrahim Sofrası, Leyla ile Mecnun, and Gönül Hırsızı, and acted in the 2008 film A.R.O.G. In 2020 he produced and wrote the comedy series Tövbeler Olsun. He is the elder brother of novelist Metin Kaçan.
