Furkan Andıç — Biography

Furkan Andıç was born in 1990 in İstanbul. He began his education in the Radio and Television Programming Department at Bilgi University and, after a lateral transfer, completed it in the Visual Communication and Design Department at Yeditepe University. Having played basketball since a young age, Furkan Andıç played on the youth teams of Darüşşafaka, Pamukspor, Işık Spor and Marmara Koleji. He had his first acting experience with the series Kolej Günlüğü, in which he appeared in 2011; he went on to act in the series Aşk Ekmek Hayaller, Kaçak Gelin, Tatlı İntikam, Kırgın Çiçekler, Yağmurdan Kaçarken, Adını Feriha Koydum and Umutsuz Ev Kadınları. In the series Kardeş Çocukları, broadcast on Star TV and featuring names such as Mehmet Aslantuğ, Ayça Bingöl, Afra Saraçoğlu, Nur Fettahoğlu, Furkan Andıç and Murat Daltaban, he plays the character Volkan.
