Doğan Akdoğan — Biography

Actor Doğan Akdoğan, born in Çankırı on May 3, 1987, trained in acting at the Pera Academy of Fine Arts. He began his career in commercials, first appearing in a Domino's Pizza ad and later in campaigns for Avea, Hepsiburada.com and Avon, alongside stage work in theatre. He made his television debut in 2011 with Huzurum Kalmadı, followed by roles in Güldür Güldür, Poyraz Karayel, Leyla ile Mecnun, Beni Böyle Sev and Buyur Burdan Bak. He moved into film in 2014 with Eyvah Eyvah 3. His credits also include Mehmed: Bir Cihan Fatihi, 8. Gün, Acans, Hababam Sınıfı Yaz Oyunları and Sen Ben O. For his performance in the play Vanya, Sonya, Maşa ve Spike, he won Best Supporting Actor at the 2017 Direklerarası Theatre Awards.

In the TRT series Lise Devriyesi, Akdoğan starred alongside Mehmet Ozan Dolunay, İsmail Ege Şaşmaz and Bahar Şahin, playing the character Meriç. He is married to Burcu Akdoğan and continues to take on new projects.
