Devrim Saltoğlu — Biography

Devrim Saltoğlu was born on 30 June 1973 in Trabzon. After finishing Trabzon Anadolu High School he enrolled at Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography to study Italian language and literature, and later completed his acting training at Eskişehir Anadolu University's State Conservatory.

He began his stage career in his native Trabzon and went on to perform with companies such as İzmit City Theatre and Ankara Özgür Tiyatro; his role in the 2005 play "Ağır Roman" earned him the best supporting actor prize at the 5th Lions Theatre Awards. In the 2008-2009 season he set up his own troupe, Salt Tiyatro, and opened an acting studio under its roof; he also wrote a novel called "Aşkyuvarlar."

Active in film and television since the early 2000s, he is best remembered for playing Seyhan Karadağ in the series Asmalı Konak; his film credits include Yağmur: Kıyamet Çiçeği and 72. Koğuş, and he went on to take roles in productions such as Alparslan: Büyük Selçuklu and Kıbrıs: Zafere Doğru before joining the historical drama Kuruluş Osman in the role of Ulugan by late 2024.
