Deniz Durmaz — Biography

Deniz Durmaz is a Turkish television actress born in Istanbul on November 19, 1992. After studying at Gazi University, she took private acting lessons from Neşe Baykent before entering the industry. She began her acting career in 2009 with the series Deniz Yıldızı, followed by roles in Karagül and Alın Yazım.

One of her best-known roles is the character Azize in the Star TV series Adını Sen Koy, where she appeared alongside cast members such as Cenk Torun, Mert Öcal and Gökberk Demirci, a role that brought her to a wider audience.

In 2025, Durmaz and fellow actress Beren Demirkaya spoke publicly about the difficulty of finding steady work in the acting industry, describing how unemployed actors were turning to jobs such as motorcycle courier work to make ends meet.
