Aykut İğdeli — Biography

Aykut İğdeli was born in Istanbul on 7 April 1985. After finishing primary and secondary school, he enrolled in the Performing Arts Department at Uludağ University, and following graduation he took acting classes at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center.

He began his acting career with the 2009 series Deniz Yıldızı. In 2013 he took a role in Firuze, and the two projects brought him recognition on television. In 2016 he reached a wide audience playing Nihat in the TRT1 series Adını Sen Koy; in the story, Nihat is a money-minded man in love with Zehra who is also the philandering husband of Ömer's sister Ayşe.

İğdeli practiced taekwondo for many years, reaching black-belt level and taking second place in a competition; he enjoys drawing caricatures, listens to rock and classical music, supports Fenerbahçe, and is unmarried.
