Cüneyt Mete — Biography
Cüneyt Mete is a Turkish actor, born on 9 September 1970 in İzmir. Educated at the Theatre Department of the Ankara University State Conservatory, Mete first appeared in front of the camera with the 1991 film Varyemez.
His television career began with the series Unutma Beni, Köprü and Yeni Evli, followed by roles in Kurtlar Vadisi Terör (2007), Kayıp Prenses (2008) and Ayrılık (2009). He increased his recognition with the character Cesur in Beni Affet, and went on to portray Cemal in Aşk ve Mavi, which began in 2016, and Orhan Eren in Kardeşlerim, which began in 2021.
Cüneyt Mete, who married actress Şeyma Korkmaz in 2019, played the character Yaşar Demir in the series Can Borcu, which began airing on ATV in 2024. The show's second season was among the most anticipated productions of 2025.
