Bilâl İnci — Biography
Bilâl İnci (born Bilal İnece) was born on September 29, 1936, in Adana. After some schooling at İzmit High School and various jobs, he turned to cinema and became one of Yeşilçam’s most recognizable character actors, remembered for the tough, villainous roles he often played.
In the 1960s and 1970s he appeared in productions such as “Ala Geyik” (1969), “Büyük Yemin” (1969), “Dağların Kartalı” (1970), and “Tarkan: Gümüş Eyer” (1970), and kept up a prolific pace through the decade with “Cemo” (1972), “Topal” (1973), “Battal Gazi’nin Oğlu” (1974), “Kader Yolcuları” (1975), “İki Kızgın Adam” (1976), and “Kılıç Bey” (1978). He also worked occasionally as a director, and died in Istanbul on October 15, 2005.
