Ayça Eren — Biography

Ayça Eren is a Turkish actress best known on television for playing Şule in the series Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi. She took the role when the series began in 2010 and played Şule again in the follow-up production released in 2022. She also appeared in the franchise's cinema chapter, the 2013 film Behzat Ç.: Ankara Yanıyor.

She came to acting after an engineering degree. Eren completed the industrial engineering programme at Çankaya University, and in 2010, while photographing a venue run by Erdal Beşikçioğlu, she joined the cast of Behzat Ç. on his suggestion.

Beyond Şule, she appeared on screen in two 2016 productions: she played Tamara in the film Annemin Yarası (My Mother's Wound) and Ezo in the series 46: Yok Olan. Known for her attachment to Ankara, she has said in an interview that she turned down some television offers so that she could keep living in the city.
