Alayça Öztürk — Biography

Alayça Öztürk (Gidişoğlu) was born on March 12, 1984, in İstanbul and completed her acting training at the Theatre Department of the State Conservatory at Mimar Sinan University.

She began her on-screen career in 2005 with the series Üç Kadın, and went on to appear in Ey Aşk Nerdesin, Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki, Hanımeli Sokağı, Vurgun, Sen de Gitme and Fabrika Kızı. She reached a wide audience playing Safiye in the 2016 series Aşk ve Mavi, and joined the cast of Bir Zamanlar Çukurova in 2018.

Alongside her screen career, Öztürk has also remained active on stage, and in 2024 she published a book of short stories, stepping into writing as well.
