Ahsen Eroğlu — Biography

Ahsen Eroğlu was born on 27 October 1994 in the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ, to a family descended from Bulgarian immigrants. After finishing Ege University's School of Physical Education and Sports, she trained in acting at Sahne 3MOTA and began her career in 2015 playing Zehra in Bir Modern Habil Kabil Hikayesi.

She went on to take supporting parts in Muhteşem Yüzyıl: Kösem, Anne, Kızlarım İçin and İstanbullu Gelin, then landed her first lead role in 2019 as Kumru Cebeci in Kuzgun. Playing Dicle in Menajerimi Ara, a Turkish remake of the French series Dix pour cent, brought her wide recognition and a Rising Star award at the 47th Golden Butterfly Awards; around the same time she played Gizem in the film Sardunya and took the lead in the play Ağaçtaki Kız, adapted from a novel by Şebnem İşigüzel.

More recently she has appeared in Deha, Kübra, Merve Kült and Başlangıçlar, and since 2025 has played Çiğdem in Rüya Gibi. In April 2026 she was briefly detained as part of a drug investigation and released under a foreign travel ban and judicial supervision.
