Yellow Hair and the Pecos Kid (Yellow Hair & The Pecos Kid)

Yellow Hair & The Pecos Kid is a 1984 American-Spanish adventure western directed and written by Matt Cimber, also known as Yellow Hair and the Fortress of Gold. Shot in English, it was filmed on location in Spain's Almería province, particularly in the Tabernas Desert, a setting closely associated with European westerns. The film was distributed in the United States by Crown International Pictures, a company specializing in low-budget action movies, and received its German premiere on 21 November 1985.

The cast features Laurene Landon, Cihangir Gaffari, Ken Roberson, Claudia Gravy, Luis Lorenzo, and Aldo Sambrell. Although promoted as a female counterpart to Indiana Jones, the film more closely evokes the 1940s western serials referenced in its opening credits. Cimber had previously directed Landon in Hundra the year before, reuniting with her for this blend of action, adventure, and comedy.
