Hundra

Hundra is a 1983 sword-and-sandal fantasy film co-written and directed by Matt Cimber. A co-production between Spain, Italy and the United States, it was distributed in the US by Film Ventures International in August 1983 and released in Germany under the title Warrior Queen. Laurene Landon stars as the Amazonian warrior Hundra, alongside Cihangir Gaffari, who also produced the film, María Casal and Ramiro Oliveros.

Raised by her tribe to scorn men, the skilled archer and swordswoman Hundra finds her people massacred and sets out both for revenge and in search of a mate to continue her line. Critics were divided over Landon's performance and the action scenes—some calling them contrived, others praising her as a standout action actress—but the film has since gained cult status and is often cited among the undervalued films of its era.
