Seven Troublesome Husnu (Yedi Bela Hüsnü) (translated)

Yedi Bela Hüsnü is a 1982 Turkish comedy directed by Natuk Baytan from a screenplay by Ahmet Üstel, produced by Yahya Kılıç and shot by Cumhur Film. The lead role belongs to Kemal Sunal, one of the most beloved comic actors of his generation.

The hero, Hüsnü, is a naive young man whom his friend Cemal persuades to believe he is a handsome fellow. While urging him on to win Hüsniye, the prettiest girl in the neighborhood, Cemal also keeps relieving him of his money. To impress the girl he loves, Hüsnü starts posing as a tough guy, yet the killings pinned on him and the hired killers sent after him make him known, quite unwillingly, as 'Yedi Bela Hüsnü' — Hüsnü of the Seven Troubles. When the wealthy Malik, who covets the neighborhood's land, also marks him for removal, Hüsnü finds himself fighting on two fronts: to win his beloved and simply to stay alive.

The supporting ensemble includes Şevket Altuğ, Oya Aydoğan, Ali Şen, Atilla Ergün and Belkıs Dilligil. Running about 82 minutes, the picture is a typical example of the era's popular neighborhood comedies. Director Baytan also turns up briefly on screen as a bearded man at a minibus stop.
