Vampire Sisters (Vampir Kız Kardeşler)
Vampire Sisters (German: Die Vampirschwestern) is a 2012 German family fantasy comedy directed by Wolfgang Groos. Written by Ursula Gruber, it adapts Franziska Gehm's bestselling novel series of the same name and opened in German cinemas on 27 December 2012.
The story follows twelve-year-old half-vampire twins Silvania and Dakaria, who leave their home in Transylvania with their family and settle in a small German town. Their greatest challenge is learning to live among humans: they cannot freely use their supernatural powers and can only fly after midnight. While Dakaria longs to return home, Silvania tries to embrace ordinary life. Their difficult school days become even more complicated when their neighbour Dirk van Kombast turns out to be a vampire hunter. Marta Martin and Laura Roge star as the sisters, alongside Christiane Paul, Stipe Erceg, Michael Kessler and Jamie Bick.
