Passion (Tutku) (translated)

Tutku (Passion) is a 1984 Turkish drama film directed by Feyzi Tuna. It is an adaptation of "Öç" (Revenge), a story from Necati Cumalı's short story collection Susuz Yaz (Dry Summer), first published in 1962. While the film largely stays faithful to the source material, its ending departs from the conclusion of the book.

Shot in Turkish and running 83 minutes, the film draws on Cumalı's literary treatment of rural settings and the tensions within human relationships. Its cast includes Hülya Avşar and Celile Toyon.
