The Slave

The Slave (original French title L'Esclave, Italian title Schiavitù) is a 1953 French-Italian drama film directed by Yves Ciampi. The screenplay was written by Jacques Dopagne and Henri-François Rey.

Shot in French and running about 99 minutes, the film stars Daniel Gélin, Eleonora Rossi Drago and Barbara Laage, with supporting roles from performers such as Harry-Max, Judith Magre, Louis Seigner, Maurice Biraud, Andréa Parisy, Gérard Landry and Joëlle Bernard. A co-production between France and Italy, it was released in 1953.
