The Divorce

Il divorzio (The Divorce) is a 1970 Italian comedy directed by Romolo Guerrieri. Made in the period when Italy had just legalised divorce, the film draws on the era's social climate, treating marriage and separation with a comic touch. Vittorio Gassman stars alongside American opera singer Anna Moffo, with a supporting cast that includes Nino Castelnuovo, Lars Bloch, Anita Ekberg, Massimo Serato and Mario Brega.
