Tarkan Versus the Vikings (Tarkan: Viking Kanı)

Tarkan: Viking Blood is a 1971 Turkish film directed by Mehmet Aslan and adapted from Sezgin Burak's comic strip of the same name. Co-produced by Arzu Film and Tuna Film, it features Kartal Tibet reprising his role as the Hunnic hero Tarkan, continuing the story after Tarkan: Gümüş Eyer. The screenplay is credited to Sezgin Burak and Sadık Şendil.

The plot unfolds as Hun Emperor Attila conquers the European states one by one, leaving them defenseless against the Viking threat arriving from Scandinavia. Having struck a deal with the Chinese Emperor, the Vikings besiege a Hun fortress and take Attila's daughter, Yonca Hatun, captive. Tarkan sets out after the raiders to rescue her from Viking commander Toro and Chinese Princess Lotus, and to exact his revenge. The film went on general release on November 1, 1971.
