Taken 2, released in Istanbul in 2012, is the Turkish theatrical title for the French action-thriller film Taken 2. Directed by Olivier Megaton, the screenplay is by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, produced by Luc Besson, and the film's score is by Nathaniel Méchaly. A sequel to the 2008 film Taken and the second installment in a trilogy, it stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, and Rade Šerbedžija.

The story unfolds after Bryan Mills, a retired CIA agent, kills a gang member while rescuing his daughter. The deceased man's father, Murad Hoca, an Albanian mafia leader and terrorist, vows revenge and sets out to find Mills with his men. Mills, who meets his ex-wife Lenore and daughter Kim in Istanbul, is kidnapped there; his rescue is only possible with the help of his daughter Kim.

A significant portion of the film was shot in Istanbul, in locations such as Balat, Kadıköy, and Haydarpaşa. The film grossed over $376 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing film of the trilogy; however, it received largely negative reviews from critics (22% on Rotten Tomatoes, 45 out of 100 on Metacritic). The third film in the series, Taken 3, was released in 2015.
