Şaşkın is a Turkish youth comedy directed by Şahin Alparslan and released in 2006. Alparslan co-wrote the screenplay with Doğu Yücel, and Erol Avcı produced the film. The cast includes Onur Ünsal, Evrim Akın, Selin Demiratar, Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Serdar Yeğin, Serkan Keskin and Serenay Sarıkaya.

Mehmet, a university student stuck in an unhappy relationship, happens to hear a radio program one night. A guest named Zeynep bluntly rejects the DJ's ready-made formulas about love and speaks honestly about her feelings. Deeply struck by her words, Mehmet decides to track down this girl he has never met. His only clue is that she works as an intern at a hotel. Setting off with his roommate Çetin, Mehmet's search takes an unexpected turn when his path crosses that of a serial killer wanted by Interpol on a red notice. What begins as a simple quest for love turns into a chaotic and funny adventure.
