Şabanoğlu Şaban is a 1977 Turkish comedy built around Kemal Sunal's beloved Şaban character. Directed by Ertem Eğilmez from a screenplay by Sadık Şendil and produced by Arzu Film, the roughly 90-minute picture premiered in December 1977.

Şaban, whose endless clumsiness torments his commander Hüsamettin during military service, works as a musician in an entertainment venue after discharge alongside his friend Ramazan, and both fall for Nigar, the singer at the same place. When the pair accidentally captures Kadırgalı Eşref, the crook who has eluded now-commissioner Hüsamettin for months, Nazır Pasha appoints them as secret policemen, and they begin searching the pasha's mansion for his sister's stolen diamond. The cast includes Şener Şen, Halit Akçatepe, Sıtkı Akçatepe, Adile Naşit and Ayşen Gruda.
