Rosebud is a 1975 American action-thriller film directed by Otto Preminger. The screenplay, written by the director's son Erik Lee Preminger, was adapted from the 1974 novel of the same name by Joan Hemingway and Paul Bonnecarrère. Peter O'Toole, Richard Attenborough and Peter Lawford head the cast, which also includes Claude Dauphin and Isabelle Huppert, while a young Kim Cattrall made her film debut in the production.

The story follows Larry Martin, a Newsweek reporter who is secretly a CIA operative, as he travels across countries with Israeli intelligence to free five wealthy young women kidnapped from the yacht Rosebud. Robert Mitchum was originally set for the lead but left after clashing with Preminger. Released in April 1975 in German cinemas, the film was poorly received by critics and regarded as a major commercial failure.
