Quartier V.I.P.
Quartier V.I.P. is a 2005 French comedy film directed by Laurent Firode. Set in a prison, the story follows an unassuming prison guard whose orderly life is upended when a mix-up inside the facility leads his own colleagues to mistake him for an inmate and lock him in a cell. Trapped on the wrong side of the bars, he must try to prove his real identity while experiencing the closed world of the prisoners from the inside. This absurd case of mistaken identity forms the core of the film's humour.
Running about 99 minutes, the film stars François Berléand, Jacky Nercessian and Jean-Claude Brialy, alongside singer Johnny Hallyday, Catherine Jacob, Bruno Lochet and Pascal Légitimus.
