Le théâtre national populaire

Le théâtre national populaire is a 1956 French short documentary directed by Georges Franju. Running roughly half an hour, the film looks at the work of the Théâtre national populaire under Jean Vilar's leadership in the early 1950s, capturing the company's stage life. Noted performers of the period, including Maria Casarès and Georges Wilson, appear in the documentary.
