Le piège à cons

Le piège à cons is a 1979 French drama film directed by Jean-Pierre Mocky. Running roughly ninety minutes, it features Catherine Leprince, Dominique Zardi, Henri Attal, Jacques Legras, Jean Abeillé and Sophie Moyse, with Mocky himself also among the performers. The picture belongs to the prolific and fiercely independent run of films Mocky made through the 1970s, outside the mainstream of French cinema. Like many of his works, it reflects his taste for satirical, socially barbed storytelling. The film saw little exposure beyond France and remains one of the lesser-known titles in the director's long filmography.
