The Bloody Farm (Kanlı Çiftlik)
Kanlı Çiftlik (The Bloody Farm) is a black-and-white Turkish drama written, produced and directed by Faruk Kenç for the İstanbul Film company. Sources differ on the production year, listing it as 1952 or 1953; the film premiered on 19 March 1953.
The 90-minute film features cinematography by İlhan Arakon and Enver Burçkin and a score by Sadi Yaver Ataman. Belgin Doruk and Aliye Rona head a cast that also includes Bülent Ufuk, Mine Coşkun, Kadir Savun and Zihni Rona. The work dates from the formative years of Turkish cinema, when Kenç was counted among the industry's leading directors.
