Double Impact (İkiz Kan)
Double Impact is a 1991 American action and martial arts film directed by Sheldon Lettich, with Jean-Claude Van Damme in a dual role as twin brothers Chad and Alex Wagner. As infants, the twins are separated after their parents are murdered in Hong Kong on the orders of the father's business partner, Griffith. Alex grows up on the streets of Hong Kong as a tough small-time smuggler, while Chad is raised in comfort in Los Angeles. Twenty-five years later, family friend and protector Frank Avery reunites the brothers in Hong Kong. Though their personalities could not be more different, both men happen to be highly skilled martial artists, and they join forces to take revenge on those responsible for their parents' deaths. Bolo Yeung appears as the villainous Moon. Shot in Hong Kong and Los Angeles, the film marked the third collaboration between Lettich and Van Damme, who also co-wrote and co-produced the picture. Released by Columbia Pictures in August 1991, it became a major box office success worldwide.
