Two Lines (İki Çizgi)

Two Lines is a 2008 Turkish drama film written and directed by Selim Evci, his feature debut after a background in short films. Produced under his Evci Film label, Evci also handled the editing. The film had its world premiere on September 1, 2008, in the Critics' Week section of the 65th Venice Film Festival, and its Turkish premiere at the 45th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. After screening at more than thirty festivals, it opened theatrically in Turkey on February 27, 2009.

The story follows Selin, an Istanbul businesswoman, and her younger photographer boyfriend Mert, whose summer car journey south becomes the heart of the film. As the couple moves away from the city, they confront the alienation growing between them, with the age gap and differing expectations shaping this study of a modern relationship. Gülçin Santırcıoğlu and Kaan Keskin star in the leading roles. Filming took place in Istanbul, Geyikli, Bergama, Foça, and Ayvalık.
