Girl on the Road

Girl on the Road (original title: Les petits matins) is a 1962 black-and-white French comedy-romance film directed by Jacqueline Audry. Written by Stella Kersová and Pierre Laroche, the picture premiered in France on 16 March 1962 and was also known there as Mademoiselle Stop. It reached West German cinemas in 1965 under the title Wir bitten zu Bett, while some markets released it as Hitch-Hike.

Running about 101 minutes, the film stars Agathe Aems alongside Darry Cowl, Pierre Mondy and Lino Ventura. The wider ensemble features familiar French performers of the era, including François Périer, Jean-Claude Brialy, Henri Attal, Dominique Zardi and Pierre Repp.
