The Ringing Ball (Çıngıraklı Top)

The Ringing Ball is a 2009 Turkish comedy film written and directed by M. Egemen Ertürk. It opened in cinemas across Turkey on 18 September 2009.

The film follows a team of blind football players who dream of travelling to Athens to take part in the 2004 Summer Paralympics. Brought together under the roof of an association, the players train side by side and, along the way, come to terms with their own lives and with each other.

After its nationwide release in Turkey, the film was also shown at film festivals in Ankara and Thessaloniki. The cast includes İpek Özkök and Timur Acar.
