İpek Özkök — Biography

İpek Özkök (born 1982 in Istanbul) is a Turkish actress and model. Her date of birth is recorded inconsistently: Wikidata and the English-language sources give 17 April 1982, while the Turkish Wikipedia and the SinemaTürk database list 19 July 1982; the year itself is not disputed. She graduated from the ceramics department of Sakarya University and worked as a model before turning to acting.

Özkök built her career almost entirely in Turkish television. She first appeared in the series Camdan Pabuçlar (2004) and Beyaz Gelincik (2005), followed by Yalan Dünya, Son Tercih, Aman Annem Görmesin and Gece Gündüz. She featured in Aşk Bir Hayal (2009-2010) and Huzur Sokağı (2012-2013), but her longest engagement was the police drama Arka Sokaklar, appearing in seasons broadcast between 2010 and 2018. Her only feature-film credit is the 2009 production Çıngıraklı Top, in which she played Semra.

Her private life has been widely covered by the Turkish entertainment press: she became engaged in 2014, married Levent Ağan in 2015, and press reports place the birth of her child in 2016.
