Çatlı is a drama and crime film released in March 2026. It was directed by Deniz Enyüksek and written by Onur Tan and Nevzat Erkul, and produced by Safe Medya and Böcek Film. It runs about two hours. Former national footballer Vedat İnceefe plays Abdullah Çatlı and Şiva Behrouzfar plays Meral Çatlı. Eren Vurdem, Ömer Kurt, Engin Benli, Erdal Küçükkömürcü, Turgay Tanülkü and Nizam Namidar are also in the cast. Çatlı's daughter Gökçen Çatlı worked as a consultant.

Shooting began in Budapest: after test shoots in Istanbul the crew went on set in Hungary, and scenes set in France and Greece were also planned to be filmed abroad. At the gala screening, Enyüksek said the film is the first part of a four-and-a-half-hour story, with the second part aimed at autumn or winter.

The film is drawn from the life of Abdullah Çatlı, who died in the 1996 Susurluk car crash. It covers his departure from Turkey after the 1980 coup and his years in Europe, during which he was in conflict with ASALA. It shows him caught up in an international conflict spread across several European countries in the early 1980s, along with the political climate and web of relationships of the period. His choices between loyalty, responsibility and protecting his family are at the centre of the story.
