Vedat İnceefe — Biography

Vedat İnceefe is a retired Turkish footballer and football coach, born on 1 April 1974 in the Bandırma district of Balıkesir. Over his playing career he turned out for Soma Sotesspor, Karabükspor, Galatasaray, İstanbulspor, Vestel Manisaspor and Bursaspor, becoming most closely associated with Galatasaray, where he spent the longest spell of his career, and was once nicknamed "Reis". He was capped for the Turkish national team and played in all three of Turkey's matches at UEFA Euro 1996.

After retiring from playing, İnceefe went on to work as a football coach, and more recently he has drawn attention as an actor. He portrayed Abdullah Çatlı in the biographical film "Çatlı", appearing at premiere and promotional events around the film's release in late 2025 and early 2026.
