Attention

Attention (original title: Attention, les enfants regardent, released in Germany as Der unheimliche Fremde) is a 1978 French film directed by Serge Leroy. Blending drama, thriller and crime elements, it was scripted by Christopher Frank from the 1971 novel The Children Are Watching by Laird Koenig and Peter L. Dixon. Shot in French and running about 103 minutes, the film stars Alain Delon.

The story follows four siblings in a small seaside town who spend their days in front of the television. When a prank they play on their babysitter during a beach outing ends in death, the children decide to conceal what happened; but a stranger who witnessed the incident blackmails them, pushing them toward a far darker course of action. The supporting cast includes Françoise Brion, Sophie Renoir, Paul Crauchet, Danielle Volle and Michel Fortin.
