Another World

Another World (Un autre monde) is a 2021 French drama written and directed by Stéphane Brizé, with Olivier Gorce co-writing the screenplay. Vincent Lindon plays Philippe Lemesle, a top executive at a major industrial group whose mounting professional obligations gradually overwhelm him. As the demands of his position intensify, the strain spills into his private life: his marriage to the woman played by Sandrine Kiberlain erodes, and the boundary between the boardroom and the home collapses. Anthony Bajon, Marie Drucker and Christophe Rossignon appear in supporting roles. Running 96 minutes, the film had its world premiere in the main competition of the 78th Venice International Film Festival, where it was among the titles contending for the Golden Lion.
