Serkan Kuru — Biography
Serkan Kuru is a Turkish television actor born in Bursa on June 18, 1978. After studying in the Electronics Department of Balıkesir University, he turned to theatre and acting, making his screen debut in 2005 with the series Beşinci Boyut.
In the years that followed he appeared in numerous series, including Emret Komutanım, Zelihanın Gözleri, Kalpsiz Adam, Kollama, Yalancısın Sen, Ateşe Yürümek, Elde Var Hayat, Gölgedeki Renkler, Tövbeler Tövbesi, Araf Zamanı, Nizama Adanmış Ruhlar, Kertenkele, Kara Para Aşk and Beş Kardeş, and also took on several film roles. He played the character Fuat in the ATV series Bahtiyar Ölmez.
More recently, Kuru has reached a wide audience playing Doktor Kenan in ATV's popular series Gönül Dağı, and in early 2026 he drew media attention amid speculation over whether his character would leave the show or be killed off.
