Reza Abdi — Biography
Reza Abdi was born on 1 November 1931 in Tehran and became known in Iran as an actor across film, radio and theatre. He was especially remembered by listeners of Iranian Radio for voicing the character Amiz Abdoltame on the long-running program "Sobh-e Jom'e Ba Shoma" and Abdol Business on "Jom'e-ye Irani." His film career began in 1969, with roles in productions such as A World Full of Hope, The Golden Palace and Three Ruby Eyes, and he continued to appear regularly in Iranian cinema through the late 1970s. Reza Abdi died in Tehran on 14 November 2019.
