Özgür Karadeniz — Biography
Özgür Karadeniz is a German actor of Turkish descent, born on 10 June 1977 in Artvin, Turkey. Working across film, television and theatre, he has built his career largely within German productions.
His credits include "The Lies of the Victors" (2014), "Famous Five 4" and "Taxi" (2015), "Brother and Sister" and "Die Opfer – Vergesst mich nicht" (2016), "Smuggling Hendrix" (2018) and "Gipsy Queen" (2019), as well as an appearance in the long-running German crime series "Tatort." In 2023 he appeared in "The Teachers' Lounge" ("Das Lehrerzimmer"), the internationally acclaimed drama directed by İlker Çatak.
Continuing his collaboration with Çatak, Karadeniz also appeared in the 2026 film "Sarı Zarflar."
