Morteza Aghili — Biography
Morteza Aghili was born on 11 September 1944 in Tehran and began his stage career in 1962 by joining the Shahin Sarkisian Theater Group. He moved into film in 1971 with a role in Shapoor Gharib's Kako, and over the following years worked as actor, screenwriter and director on dozens of films including Ashes of Love, Red Hair, Ghoul, Taher and Papoosh. Aghili emigrated from Iran following the 1979 revolution and has lived in Los Angeles ever since, where he still takes roles in series on the Gem television channel.
