Meral Konrat — Biography
Meral Konrat (born March 11, 1963, in Karaman) is a Turkish actress, singer and television presenter. She studied at Marmara University.
She began her screen career in the late 1980s with films such as Üçüncü Göz (1988), Gülbeyaz, İsa Musa Meryem and Doktorlar (1989). She became widely known for the title role of Tahmina in the 1993 film Tahmine, a part that also made her popular in Azerbaijan. She both starred in and produced Yaz Aşkım (1998), and served as producer on Kader (1995), Solan Gül (1993) and Aşk ve Barış (1998).
In 2022 she was elected vice president of the Film-San Foundation. Alongside acting, she has also worked as a singer and presenter.
