Kanbolat Görkem Arslan — Biography

Kanbolat Görkem Arslan (4 November 1980, Düzce – 11 February 2026, Istanbul) was a Turkish actor. A graduate of the Theatre Department of the Hacettepe University State Conservatory, he took his first screen role in the series Çemberimde Gül Oya (2004); his portrayal of Mahir Çayan in Hatırla Sevgili brought him wider recognition.

He reached the peak of his career as Sefer in Poyraz Karayel (2014), and in his later years appeared in historical productions, playing Saru Batu Savcı in Kuruluş Osman (2019), Saltuk Beg in Destan (2021) and Gümüştekin in Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi (2023). He also acted in the films Hayatın Tuzu, Teslimiyet, Yurt and Daire. Arslan died of a heart attack in February 2026, aged 45, and was laid to rest at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
