İzzet Çivril — Biography

İzzet Çivril (b. 1952) is a Turkish film and television actor. Throughout his career he has mostly taken on character roles in historical productions, comedies and action series.

He raised his profile with the comedy film Yahşi Batı (2009) and the crime series Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi (2010), and also appeared in the long-running action series Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu. Being part of the cast of Fetih 1453, released in 2012, became one of the most visible works of his career; the same year he acted in the film Ayaz (2012). The following year he appeared in Atatürk'ün Fedaisi Topal Osman (2013), and more recently he was part of the cast of Hükümet Bey, which hit cinemas in September 2024.
