Namık Kemal Yiğittürk — Biography
Namık Kemal Yiğittürk (born 1945, Istanbul – died 20 October 2025) was a Turkish theatre, film and television actor. A stage-trained performer, he first reached television audiences with the 2002 series Sırlar Dünyası.
Over his career he played Firuz in the series Sıla (2006) and Baba Memduh in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu (2007), and also appeared in popular series such as Böyle Bitmesin (2012) and Diriliş Ertuğrul (2014); on the big screen he acted in the 2012 film Fetih 1453. Best known to wide audiences as Baba Memduh in Kurtlar Vadisi, the veteran actor died in October 2025.
