İrem Sultan Cengiz — Biography

İrem Sultan Cengiz was born on 3 September 1992 in Mardin. She completed her acting education at the Theatre Department of the İstanbul University State Conservatory.

She gained her first on-screen experience in 2009 with the series Aşk Bir Hayal, and the following year she appeared in the long-running crime series Arka Sokaklar. In 2015 she first acted in the series Şehrin Melekleri and then joined the cast of Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, broadcast on ATV.

She became known to a wide audience through the character of Selda, which she portrayed in this series whose leading roles were shared by Oktay Kaynarca and Deniz Çakır, and she has continued her television career with her conservatory-trained acting.
