Houshang Beheshti — Biography

Houshang Beheshti, sometimes also transliterated as Hushang Beheshti, was an Iranian actor who worked across film, television, and stage, born in 1923 in Tehran and who died there on November 1, 1991. He trained at the Iran University of Art. He is remembered for the lead role in Hatam-e Taei and for playing Boyook Sardari in The Thief in Black. His other film credits include Return to Life, A Traveler from Heaven, Beggars of Tehran, Daash Ahmad, Iman, Kooh Zad, A World Full of Hope, Mojeze-ye ghalbha, Golden Hearts, and The World Is Mine.
