Gonca Sarıyıldız — Biography

Gonca Sarıyıldız was born in Ankara on 10 February 1986. After finishing Ankara Anıttepe High School she moved to Istanbul and graduated from the Theatre Department of Yeditepe University. She continued her stage training at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center, where she played Fikriye Hanım in the production 1881.

Her first screen role came in 2011 in Muhteşem Yüzyıl, as Fatma, a concubine of Şehzade Mustafa. In 2014 she appeared in Diğer Yarım as one of a pair of twin sisters, one of whom wears a headscarf while the other does not. In 2015 she was part of the cast of Bedel. In 2016 she took the role of İrem in ATV's Seviyor Sevmiyor, led by Zeynep Çamcı and Gökhan Alkan, a series that brought her to a wider audience.
