Garshasb Raoufi — Biography
Garshasb Raoufi was an Iranian theater and film actor, born in 1933 in Tehran. During the 1960s he was among the founders of a well-regarded comedy troupe alongside Mohammad Motavaslani and Mansour Sepehrnia. Across a screen career running from 1958 to 1976 he appeared in dozens of Iranian films, among them Storm in Our Town, The Bitter Land, Se Naghola dar Japon, The Wedding Commotion, A Suitcase Full of Sex and The Deer. He died in Tehran on 8 December 2007.
