Filippo Nigro — Biography

Filippo Nigro, an Italian actor, was born on 3 December 1970 in Rome. He trained at Italy's Experimental Centre of Cinematography, where he studied under director Lina Wertmüller, and in 2004 he won the Shooting Stars award at the Berlin Film Festival. He appeared in acclaimed Italian productions such as Facing Windows and The Ignorant Fairies, and Spanish-language coverage of his career often highlights his role as Fabio Martinelli in the series R.I.S. - Delitti Imperfetti. In later years he took on international projects including Medici, Barabbas and Everything Calls for Salvation. He has continued to work steadily across both film and television throughout his career.
