Barabbas

Barabbas is a 2012 two-part American-Italian television film directed by Roger Young. The screenplay adapts the novel of the same name by the Swedish author and Nobel laureate Pär Lagerkvist, and the production was made for the Italian network Rai 1.

Shot in English, the drama and biographical film stars Cristiana Capotondi and Filippo Nigro alongside Billy Zane, Anna Valle and Hristo Shopov. A co-production between Italy and the United States, it was broadcast in two episodes.
